Helping You Make Fulfilling Career Choices
Have you lost the enthusiasm you once had for your job?
Are you going through the motions on a daily basis feeling unfulfilled?
Do you tell yourself there must be something better that also earns you enough money?
If any of these questions cross your mind, you are not alone. I’ve been there and that’s why I’ve taken the step to find people like you and help you tackle these frustrations.
Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could live in a world where people made courageous choices so they could live fulfilled lives? You are probably realising that the choices you make within your career can become fundamental to your overall health and wellbeing – something I only realised after I got physically sick from a stressful working environment.
Like many people, I’ve dealt with the blow of being made redundant through company restructures. I’ve navigated my way through office politics and had to deal with people who think they are better than they are. I’ve taken the tough decision to leave a couple of different roles because of my own stress levels or toxic leadership environments.
My own career hasn’t been an easy journey but I was able to overcome these challenges and create a fulfilling, rewarding career path. If any of this is feeling familiar to you, I want to help you do the same.
I went through an outplacement programme after redundancy which allowed me to experience career guidance and support for adults. I was lucky to have access to the emotional support as well as the various tools and advice they were providing people at all stages of their career. I saw the difference it made first hand. I’d found what I wanted to do – help people in career transition and provide them not only with practical tools but also the emotional space to support their journey towards their dream career.
So I became a university career counsellor and got experience working with students doing specialised Masters and MBA programmes. I developed workshops to teach career search skills and techniques. I invested in myself to get coaching credentials so I could provide more than just tools and CV or resumé critique.
I’ve used my coaching training, my own experience in using and teaching job search techniques and skills, and my insight from working in human resources to develop a proven method for people to be able to take the right steps to find success in their own careers by focusing on themselves as well as their job search.
